We are honored to share that our President, Dr. Mohamed El-Guindy (Advisor to the Public Prosecution Office &amp; Senior Cybercrime and Cybersecurity Consultant at UNODC), recently attended a seminar hosted by the Salon of Culture, Law, and Justice, organized jointly by the Criminal Research and Training Institute of the Egyptian Public Prosecution and its Libyan counterpart. The event brought together senior leaders and members of the Public Prosecution from Egypt and Libya, alongside law professors, to strengthen cross-border collaboration.From the heart of the Criminal Research and Training Institute, this cultural and legal exchange was officially launched. Dr. El-Guindy highlighted the deep cooperation between Egypt and Libya, noting strong collaboration at both operational and legislative levels, with Egyptian experts contributing to the development of several Libyan laws.A central discussion point was artificial intelligence and its role in the justice system—examining how AI technologies can be transformed into tools that support the work of the judiciary while maintaining the human judgment essential to upholding the law. Public Prosecution members engaged in thoughtful discussions on balancing the efficiency of technology in combating organized crime with the ethical and legal principles that guide judicial decisions.This seminar reflects a growing commitment to fostering knowledge-sharing, innovation, and cross-border legal collaboration between Egypt and Libya.
