The London Cyber Science and Technology Academy (LCST) is honored to announce that its President, Dr. Mohamed El-Guindy, Senior Cybercrime and Cyber Consultant at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and Advisor to the Public Prosecution Office, delivered a specialized workshop titled “Media and Cognitive Warfare in Cyberspace” at the Arab Organization for Industrialization – Arab Organization Institute.The workshop addressed a number of critical and timely topics reflecting the evolving nature of modern conflicts in the digital age. These included media warfare and its role in shaping narratives and influence, cognitive manipulation techniques and their impact on perception and decision-making, cyberwarfare as a modern domain of conflict, and the close interdependence between cybersecurity and national security in maintaining state stability and digital resilience.The session provided a valuable platform for in-depth discussions on how information, media, and cyberspace have become central tools in contemporary conflicts. Emphasis was placed on the importance of strategic awareness, cognitive resilience, and cybersecurity readiness as essential components for countering emerging and hybrid threats.LCST extends its sincere appreciation to the Arab Organization for Industrialization and all participants for their active engagement and insightful discussions, which contributed significantly to the success of this specialized workshop.
