The London Cyber Science and Technology Academy (LCST) is pleased to announce that its President, Dr. Mohamed El-Guindy, Senior Cybercrime and Cybersecurity Consultant at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and senior cybercrime and cybersecurity advisor to the Egyptian Public Prosecution, proudly participated in a three-day specialized training program organized by the Egyptian Public Prosecution for members of the Sudanese Public Prosecution.The program was conducted from October 19th to 21st, 2025, under the directives of the Public Prosecutor of Egypt, Counselor Mohamed Shawky, as part of the Public Prosecution’s 2025–2030 Training Strategy. This strategy aims to strengthen professional development and international cooperation by focusing on exchanging expertise and enhancing skills in legal, cultural, and technical domains.The training program was organized by the Judicial Inspection Department in collaboration with the Institute of Criminal Research and Training, and included a delegation of ten members from the Sudanese Public Prosecution representing various prosecutorial ranks across the Republic of Sudan.This program was implemented in line with the Public Prosecution of Egypt’s commitment to fostering cooperation with other Arab Public Prosecution offices that are members of the Association of Arab Public Prosecutors. The initiative aims to promote the exchange of academic and professional expertise, strengthen training capacities, and improve the efficiency and competence of public prosecutors across the region.The comprehensive program covered a range of specialized and advanced topics, including:<ul><li>The concept of cybersecurity and the Egyptian Public Prosecution’s experience in addressing its associated risks.</li><li>The comparative legal framework of Egyptian and Sudanese legislations.</li><li>The international conventions and agreements governing cybercrimes.</li><li>The definition and classification of cybercrimes, including system intrusions, digital evidence, and methods of analysis.</li><li>Techniques for examining digital evidence and tracking cybercriminal activities.</li><li>The use of artificial intelligence tools to detect and expose falsified or manipulated digital content.</li><li>An introduction to cryptocurrencies and their potential use in criminal activities.</li><li>The mechanisms for investigating and managing cross-border cybercrimes.</li><li>The processes for judicial assistance and international cooperation in cybercrime investigations.</li></ul>This training program served as a vital platform for enhancing judicial knowledge and technical capabilities in combating cybercrime. It also reflected a strong commitment to international collaboration between Egypt and Sudan in promoting digital security, legal innovation, and the responsible use of emerging technologies in judicial contexts.
