These terms and conditions apply to any registree for London College of Sciences and Technology (LCST) courses. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before registering for LCST online courses as by registration you shall be bound by such terms and conditions.

I. Course Provider 1.1 The online courses are provided by London College of Sciences and Technology (LCST), an international online academy established in 2005 and registered in the UK to deliver approved online training, education, and certification. 1.2 LCST shall use its reasonable endeavours to provide the online courses advertised by LCST. Also, LCST shall provide its online courses using reasonable care and skill.
II. Learners Registration 2.1 In order to register for an online course, you must provide the required information and pay the amount specified, and you must ensure that all information provided is complete and accurate. When you register, you are offering to purchase that online course. 2.2 A legally binding agreement shall come into existence once: -LCST has accepted your offer to purchase an online course by sending you an order confirmation E-mail; and -LCST has received from you (or on your behalf) the entire course fee in cleared funds. 2.3 Where the order consists of multiple online courses subject for purchase, each individual online course shall be treated by LCST as a separate offer to purchase.
2.4 LCST reserve the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and without the need to give a reason, to refuse to accept an offer to purchase one or more online courses. In such circumstances, no contract shall arise and LCST shall return any payment accompanying your purchase offer. 2.5 These terms and conditions, together with your purchase offer and the order confirmation email, constitute the entire agreement between LCST and you, and supersedes and replaces any other terms and conditions previously published by LCST and any other understanding, undertaking, representation, warranty, arrangement, promise or statement of any nature whatsoever made by LCST to you, whether oral, written or otherwise, relating to the subject matter of these terms and conditions. You acknowledge that you have not relied on any understanding, undertaking, representation, warranty, arrangement, promise or statement made or given by LCST or on its behalf, which is not set out in the agreement.
III. Fees and Refund Policy 3.1 Full payment of the online course fee is due before the time of registration. You can pay by credit card, debit card, bank transfer, or wire transfer. LCST shall give you access to the course when full payment has been made; however, if you choose to pay by bank or wire transfer, your access shall not be granted until your transfer has cleared. 3.2 The online course fee at any given time and any additional delivery charges payable in relation to the delivery of course materials, if applicable, shall be displayed on the LCST website and/or shall be notified to you by a LCST customer services representative. 3.4 In the unlikely event that your purchase offer was accepted at a time when the amount of the online course fee displayed on the LCST website is incorrect, LCST shall notify you as soon as it reasonably can. If the correct amount of the online course fee is higher than the amount displayed on the LCST, then LCST shall contact you to notify you of the correct online course fee so you can decide whether or not you wish to continue with your order of the online course at the increased fee. If you decide that you would like to cancel your order, LCST shall give you a full refund in respect of any amount you have already paid. If the correct online course fee is lower, LCST shall refund you the difference between the amount which you have paid and the correct online course fee payable. 3.5 Your satisfaction is extremely important to LCST. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with an LCST online course you registered to, you can contact us for a refund. You shall receive 100 percent of your registration fee if you cancel your registration before the start of the course. While the percentage shall be deducted to 75 percent refund in the first week of the course, and a 50 percent refund if you cancel in the second week of the course. 3.6 No refunds shall be given after the second week of the course. To make a request for a refund, you shall submit a written request to [email protected] LCST shall notify you via E-mail of the status of your refund once we’ve received and processed your request. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within seven (7) to (14) business days.
IV. System Availability The LCST system is generally available twenty-four (24) hours seven (7) days a week (24/7), yet may be down during times of maintenance required for optimum system performance. LCST shall make every effort to inform you of system downtime in advance, yet, this is not always possible. LCST cannot provide support for computers that do not meet its system requirements.
V. Course Cancellation You may cancel your purchase of an online course within a period of seven (7) working days beginning on the day after the day on which you confirm your purchase as notified by the order confirmation E-mail from LCST. You shall not be entitled to any refund if you cancel your order at any time after the period of time mentioned in this Term 5.
VI. Registration Transfer In case you need to transfer you registration to another date, you can send your request to the online course manager. The option to transfer is valid up to 5 days after you have access to the online course. There is no extra cost to transfer your registration to another date, yet you must complete the course within six (6) months from the moment you registered for the course. If after six (6) months you have not completed the online course, your registration shall be deemed closed.
VII. Privacy and Data Protection 7.1 LCST shall process the information it receives from you, or otherwise holds about you, in accordance with these terms and conditions and its privacy and data protection policies. You consent to the use by LCST of such information in accordance with LCSTs privacy and data protection policies. 7.2 In the event that you do not wish to receive marketing correspondence from LCST, a written request or E-mail should be sent to the contact details set out in Term 16.
VIII. Access Control The receipt of an online course is personal to you, and you may not share or transfer your rights to access the online course or provide it to any other person.
IX. Warranties 9.1 LCST shall provide the course materials in accordance with the online course description, which is set out on the LCST website. 9.2 There are no warranties, express or implied, by operation of law or otherwise for the use or results of the course and materials, that you shall successfully complete the course, or that any particular level of knowledge shall be attained by you. LCST disclaims any implied warranties including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. 9.3 LCST does not make any representation, guarantee or commitment to you that the online courses or courses materials shall be error free. LCST does not make any commitment that the online courses or courses materials shall be compatible with, or operate with, your software or hardware. 9.4 All representations, warranties and/or terms and/or commitments not expressly set out in these terms and conditions (whether implied by law, conduct, statute or otherwise) are hereby excluded to the maximum extent permissible at law.
X. Disclaimer 10.1 The LCST online courses are for training purposes only. LCST shall not accept any responsibility to any party for the use of the online course(s) or course(s) material for any purpose other than training for educational purposes, including but not limited to, the giving of advice by you to any third party. 10.2 LCST may appoint independent sub-contactors to assist in providing its online courses or use third parties to arrange or supply certain aspects of, or services in connection with, such online courses. You agree that our obligation to you is to use reasonable care in selecting competent, independent sub-contractors and third party suppliers to provide reasonable services related to the online courses. You agree that LCST is not responsible for the actions or omissions of such sub-contractors or third party suppliers.
XI. Intellectual Property 11.1 At all times, LCST and/or its licensors, remain the owner of the intellectual property in the online courses and the course materials. Other than as specified below, no online course and/or course materials, nor any part of it may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted in any form or by any means without the prior written permission of LCST. 11.2 In consideration of receipt by LCST of the entire online course fee, LCST grants to you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the online course and use the course materials content for the sole purpose of studying for the online course. 11.3 Save as expressly set out in these terms and conditions, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, re-publish, sub-licence, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit, make available, disseminate or distribute in any way the online course or any of the course materials. You may not modify, adapt, merge, translate, disassemble, decompile, recompile or reverse engineer any software forming part of the online study materials or create derivative works based on the whole of or any part, or which incorporate, the online study materials into any software program. Access to the online course and use of the course materials not expressly permitted in these terms and conditions is s strictly prohibited and shall constitute an infringement of either LCST’s copyright or LCST’s other intellectual property rights, and/or the copyright or other intellectual property rights of LCST’s licensors.
XII. Limitation of Liability 12.1 The exclusions and limitations of liability contained in these terms and conditions do not apply to a party’s liability for fraud or willful default, for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, where such limitation or exclusion cannot lawfully be excluded. 12.2 Except as set out in these terms and conditions, LCST shall not be responsible for losses that result from its failure to comply with these terms and conditions including, but not limited to, losses that fall into the following categories: (a) indirect or consequential losses; (b) loss of income or revenue; (c) loss of business; (d) loss of anticipated savings; or (e) loss or corruption of data. 12.3 LCST is not responsible to you for any data that you lose either as a result of accessing the online course or the online study materials; or during completion of any online course via the LCST website. It is your responsibility to ensure that you regularly save and back up all data which you hold on the computer from which you are accessing the online course and the online study materials, and all data that you are inputting when completing the online course. 12.4 LCST shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations under these terms and conditions if the delay or failure arises from any causkie which is beyond LCST’s reasonable control. 12.5 Each provision in this Term 12 shall be construed separately as between you and LCST. If any part is held to be unreasonable, inapplicable, or unenforceable, but would be valid if some part thereof was deleted, such provision shall apply, yet with such modification as may be necessary to make it valid and effective.
XIII. Attendance and Participation 13.1 You should attend the online course’s sessions. Student’s attendance is recorded every session. The absence shall be deducted from the final score of the module. You should sign in the attendance sheet before entering the session. Not signing in the attendance sheet shall be counted as absence. You also should respect the schedule sent (timing and group) 13.2 In case of any emergencies or health issue, you can send an apology before the session to consider half of the attendance grade. 13.3 The instructor can ask questions, send assignments, request projects to attribute a score for participation. You should be proactive and send assignments and projects.
XIV. Ethics and Appropriate Behaviour Any attitude, action, or omission by you that is deemed to be inappropriate shall not be accepted by all the means, and such behaviour shall be met by a sanction that might reach the cancellation of the registration without liability or an obligation to refund any online course fee.
XV. General Provisions 15.1 LCST may update or amend these terms and conditions from time to time to comply with law or to meet its changing business requirements or to correct any errors without providing you with a notice. Any updates or amendments shall be posted on the LCST website. 15.2 You may not assign or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party. 15.3 LCST may assign, transfer or sub-contract any of its rights or obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party at its discretion. 15.4 No failure or delay by LCST in exercising any right or remedy under these terms and conditions shall operate as waiver of that right or remedy or shall affect its ability to subsequently exercise that right or remedy. 15.5 If any of these terms and conditions are found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, the rest of the terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect. 15.6 Any notices required to be served on you by LCST under these terms and conditions shall be deemed properly served if E-mailed or posted to the E-mail address or address notified by you to LCST, respectively. Any notices required to be served on LCST by you shall be deemed properly served if sent by email or post to the address set out in Term 16. 15.7 A notice sent by regular mail is deemed to be given on the day it was mailed as evidenced by the sender. A notice sent by E-mail is deemed to be given on the day it was sent.
